[FFA] Finance and Banking Students Engage in Experiential Learning at Sacombank – Dong Nai Branch

On the morning of April 17, 2025, a group of 59 students from class 23NH111, majoring in Finance and Banking under the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University, participated in a meaningful field trip and experiential learning session at the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) – Dong Nai Branch, located at 228, 30/4 Street, Quarter 9, Trung Dung Ward, Bien Hoa City.

This activity forms part of a series of regularly organized practical modules conducted by the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. It aims to create opportunities for students to gain exposure to real working environments, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom and professional practices at enterprises.

Accompanied by Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thi Kim Loan – academic advisor, and Ms. Le Thi Thuy Dung – in charge of internships and corporate relations, the student delegation received a warm welcome from representatives of Sacombank Dong Nai. The visit began with an overview of the bank’s history, organizational structure, and operations, with particular emphasis on the modern financial and banking services currently offered at the branch.

During the interactive session, Sacombank representatives provided students with valuable insights into operational procedures, essential professional skills in the banking sector, and upcoming internship and recruitment opportunities at the bank. The representatives emphasized: “We are always seeking young talents who demonstrate responsibility, a positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, modern banking environment. These qualities, if nurtured early during university years, will greatly assist students in adapting and progressing in their careers.”

On behalf of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thi Kim Loan extended her sincere gratitude to the leadership of Sacombank – Dong Nai Branch for their enthusiastic reception and for providing students with such a practical and beneficial experience. She remarked: “We highly appreciate the support and collaboration from industry partners in the educational process. Today's visit not only enriched students’ practical knowledge but also inspired their professional passion and helped shape a clearer career direction.”

The visit concluded in an energetic and inspiring atmosphere. This activity not only strengthened the cooperation between the university and enterprise but also reaffirmed the Faculty of Finance and Accounting's ongoing commitment to a practice-oriented educational approach.
