Training session on internal inspection work in 2023

Implementing Decision No. 1084/QD-BGDDT-PC dated April 17, 2023 of the Ministry of Education and Training on promulgating the Plan to implement the Legal work of the education sector in 2023 and guiding the Inspection work for the school year 2023 - 2024, on September 8 afternoon, 2023, LHU in collaboration with the Education and Training Inspectorate deployed and popularized the Government's Decree No. 04/2021/ND-CP dated January 22, 2021 on sanctioning administrative violations in education and the Government's Decree No. 127/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021 on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 04/2021ND-CP.

Attending the program, from the Education and Training Inspectorate were Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong - Chief Inspector; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Head of Professional Department 2; Ms. Tran Hai Minh - Deputy Head of Professional Department 2. From LHU, there were Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai - Chairwoman of the University Council; Mr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; along with leaders and staff members of affiliated units.

At the program, Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong - Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Education and Training presented the internal audit, inspection work and measures to handle administrative violations in education. His presentation focused on purposes, principles, forms, requirements, and procedures of internal audit and inspection work. A number of limitations, shortcomings, and violations of higher education institutions were also provided to the attendees.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Head of Professional Department 2 presented penalties for administrative violations in the education field. The contents concentrated on handling violations against regulations on training, diplomas/certificates, exams, school safety, rights of pupils, students, lecturers, etc..., and abuse of power in education. Then he proposed remedial measures as well as forms and procedures for sanctioning violations.

The training session has provided the school leadership with more useful information to support its internal audit and inspection work. Thereby, LHU constantly improves the quality of education, applies administrative handling measures in a timely and strict manner. It will certainly create a friendly, fair and civilized learning and working environment.
