As part of the "New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor" training program for officials organized by Sichuan International Studies University (SISU), the delegation of LHU on March 6, 2025 visited and worked with SISU.
LHU's delegates included Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, Head of the Office of International Affairs; Mr. Hoang Tien Dung, Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs; and Mr. Luong Van Huy, Head of the Chinese Language Division under the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
On behalf of SISU, Mr. Shen Huaqiao, Head of the Office of International Affairs; Ms. Luo Wenqing, Director of the Vietnam Studies Institute; and Mr. Hu Dengquan, Director of the Chinese Language and Culture Institute warmly welcomed the LHU delegation.

Educational collaboration between LHU and SISU
At the working session, the two institutions proposed the "3+2+1" cooperation program. Under this program, LHU students will complete three years of Chinese Language studies in Vietnam before advancing to SISU to specialize in fields such as E-Commerce, Chinese Language Education,... Upon completion, they will earn a bachelor's or master's degree from SISU. Additionally, both sides proposed collaborations in vocational education, skill training for language majors, and short-term exchange programs for students and faculty.

The meeting fosters extensive opportunities for collaboration in training and research, reinforcing the partnership between the two institutions as well as providing students with access to a diverse and high-quality educational environment. This marks an important step for both sides to continue discussions and realize potential joint programs in the future.
