Scholarship awards, expanding career opportunities with Coherent Vietnam

20 scholarships, with a total value of VND 100 million, were awarded to LHU students by Coherent Vietnam Company on September 18, 2025 at LHU. Beyond financial support, it is also a strong message of partnership between the University and businesses, especially in training, nurturing, and developing high-quality human resources.

Attending the event from LHU were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector; leaders of the Faculty of Mechatronics & Electronics, the Faculty of Information Technology, and the Center of Admissions & Public Relations. The Company was represented by Mr. Gan Yee Chun - Cluster Manager, Coherent Nhon Trach 1, and Ms. Irian Le - National HR Team, Coherent Vietnam. Serving as the collaboration bridge between the two sides were representatives of Gia Khang Media & Event JSC: Mr. Nguyen Gia Tu - Strategic Advisor, and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nga - General Director.

Pham Kim Chi Han, a student from the Faculty of Mechatronics & Electronics and one of the scholarship recipients, shared “This is a great encouragement that helps me stay confident in pursuing research in automation. What I appreciate most is that from today, we have the opportunity to access a global enterprise, understand real-world demands, and gain clearer career directions".

Similarly, Nguyen Trong Phuoc, an Artificial Intelligence student, said the scholarship not only reduces financial pressure but also opens up opportunities to join internship and recruitment programs.
