LHU to announce the Rector Recognition Decision for the 2025-2030 term

On December 15, 2025, LHU will solemnly hold the Announcement Ceremony of the Decision recognizing Assoc. Prof., PhD Lam Thanh Hien as Rector of the University for the 2025-2030 term at Auditorium A301, Campus 1.

The ceremony will be attended by members of the University Council, the Board of Rectors, representatives of investors, leaders of faculties and units, mass organizations, as well as representatives from press and media agencies. This is a significant event for LHU’s faculty and staff, marking an important transition in university governance and reaffirming the University Council’s confidence in the leadership team as the University enters a new phase of development.

At the ceremony, the University Council of LHU will officially announce and present the Decision recognizing Assoc. Prof., PhD Lam Thanh Hien as Rector for the 2025–2030 term. The Decision was issued following a rigorous process in full compliance with legal regulations and reflects a high level of consensus among the University’s leadership.

Assoc. Prof., PhD Lam Thanh Hien is an experienced educator and educational administrator who has worked closely with LHU for many years and held several important teaching and management positions. He has an in-depth understanding of the University’s education system, scientific research activities, and international collaboration. Continuing in his role as Rector, he is expected to further promote innovation, enhance training quality, strengthen scientific research, expand international cooperation, and foster a modern, humane, and globally integrated educational environment. The University’s faculty and staff firmly believes that Assoc. Prof., PhD Lam Thanh Hien possesses the dedication, vision, and leadership capacity to guide LHU toward new breakthroughs, in alignment with the University’s educational philosophy of “Leading – Humane – Upstanding”.

The Announcement Ceremony of the Decision recognizing the Rector is a key milestone in LHU’s senior leadership appointment and also demonstrates the University’s strong commitment to consolidating its leadership structure and moving toward a new stage of development with a long-term vision and clear strategic direction.
