    Third-Year Marketing Students Conduct Field Visit and Internship Observation at YKK Vietnam Company

    On the morning of 23 October 2025, third-year students of the Marketing program – The Faculty of Administration International Economics, Lac Hong University conducted a field visit and internship observation at YKK Vietnam Company, located at Lot 10, N2 Street, Nhon Trach III Industrial Park – Phase 2, Long Tho Commune, Nhon Trach District, Dong Nai Province. This activity is part of the training program aimed at enabling students to experience practical marketing operations within a manufacturing–industrial enterprise, while strengthening the connection between the University and enterprises.

    YKK Vietnam Company is a member of the YKK Group – a world-leading brand in the production of zippers and garment accessories. With the operating philosophy “Cycle of Goodness – No one prospers without rendering benefit to others,” YKK consistently prioritizes sustainable development, environmental protection, and positive contributions to the community. In Vietnam, YKK operates modern production lines and applies strict quality management processes in accordance with international standards, thereby contributing to enhancing the position of the Vietnamese brand in the global market.

    During the internship observation session, representatives of the Board of Management and the Marketing Department of YKK Vietnam Company met with students and shared practical and meaningful insights. Students were introduced to the company’s operational processes, brand development strategies, and the way YKK implements industrial marketing (B2B) – a field that is rarely discussed in traditional academic settings.

    Following the sharing session, students were guided on a tour of the production area, quality inspection room, finished goods warehouse, and product showroom. Through this visit, they directly observed the closed-loop production process, standardized procedures, and quality assurance measures – core factors that enable YKK to maintain its global brand position.

    The visit provided students with practical perspectives on how a manufacturing enterprise applies marketing in brand management, customer relations, and sustainable development. At the same time, it was an opportunity for them to develop observation, communication, and teamwork skills. At the conclusion of the internship observation, the group of students and lecturers took commemorative photos with company representatives in a joyful and friendly atmosphere.

    The field visit and internship observation at YKK Vietnam Company brought significant value, helping Marketing students consolidate theoretical knowledge, gain a clearer understanding of the real working environment, and shape their future career orientation.
