    [FAIE: Foreign Trade] Students Gain Practical Experience at Tan Cang Cat Lai, Exploring the World of Logistics

    On the morning of 17 October 2024, more than 30 students majoring in Economics (Foreign Trade) from FAIE of Lac Hong University had a highly valuable practical experience at Tan Cang Cat Lai. This visit was part of a series of practical activities designed to help students apply the knowledge they have learned to real-life contexts, while expanding their understanding of the Logistics sector—an industry that is experiencing strong growth in Vietnam.

    At Tan Cang Cat Lai, students:

    • Visited operational areas: Professional guides introduced them to the port’s main working areas, such as cargo handling zones, warehouses, and control systems.

    • Simulated delivery procedures: Directly participated in simulation activities including planning delivery schedules, inspecting goods, and completing customs procedures under the guidance of experts.

    • Engaged in Q&A and discussions: Had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange directly with experts on issues related to the Logistics sector.

    Benefits gained by students from the visit:

    • Developed practical skills: Applied theoretical knowledge to real-world situations, enhancing teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
