On 18 March 2024, the Faculty of Administration and International Economics organized a seminar on evaluating the training program and program learning outcomes of the Marketing major.

MB Ta Thi Thanh Huong – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Administration and International Economics;
MB Luu Ngoc Liem – Head of the Marketing Department;
MB Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy – Head of the International Business Department;
Alongside these lecturers and staff were invited guests from various units. The seminar was successfully held and received many contributions, updating numerous new points aimed at improving and enhancing the training quality at the Faculty of Administration International Economics.
Accompanying the Faculty and students, the Faculty of Administration International Economics was honored to welcome the following distinguished guests:
Mr. Le Van Nam – Director of Happy Success Educational Communications Company;
Mr. Huynh Nhat Lam – General Director of Green Nature Trading Service Co., Ltd.;
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phong – Assistant Director and Head of Business Department, Le Cao Phat Construction Materials Joint Stock Company.

MB Luu Ngoc Liem, Head of the Marketing Department, introduced the major’s training program to the guests. After the introduction, the expert guests actively contributed opinions and proposed several solutions to improve and enhance the quality of Marketing training in line with current trends, as well as offered some frameworks for lecturers and students to shift mindsets and strengthen effective learning.

According to Mr. Le Van Nam, the training program has been arranged with the necessary courses for Marketing students, and it has updated subjects that align with current trends.

Mr. Huynh Nhat Lam suggested that the Web Design course should be changed to Image Design, AI, and Photoshop because enterprises today do not hire marketing staff to do design tasks, and visual content is very important. He also recommended merging the Advertising Practice and E-Commerce courses into one since businesses now conduct advertising on e-commerce platforms. The Public Relations and Customer Relationship Management courses have overlapping content, so the Faculty could consider combining them. Additionally, when teaching Marketing Data Analysis, lecturers need to guide students on who analyzes the data and who collects the data for analysis.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phong suggested that the Faculty might review the credit units of the Economics course, noting that this subject is taken at the master’s level. He also emphasized that students should be familiarized with basic image editing tools that are not overly complex.
After the expert contributions, the students actively raised long-standing questions, which the experts addressed and offered supportive solutions to help students continue developing themselves.
After a period of sharing many noteworthy insights, the seminar concluded successfully. The lecturers and students received many lessons and valuable takeaways from the experts. All participants committed to working together to elevate the quality of teaching and training future generations in the most effective and trend-aligned way.
